Training Program  

 

Having well trained Franchisees is an important priority at Jim's Mowing. Your first exposure to us is through our Field Trainers. We will often recommend that you work with different Trainers over this period so that you see how the system works and the skills and methods required for success.

 

Our Trainer will answer any questions you have about their experiences and the training in our region. Training is ongoing and takes the form of seminars and workshops on topics including pruning, fertilizing, aerating, power raking lawns, equipment maintenance, health and safety issues, business expansion, customer relations, and administration. This training is presented by outside agencies as well as our successful Franchisees.

 

Regular newsletters provide you with information to help build your business.

 

Informal help and advice comes from the office and also from your local Trainers and fellow Jim’s.  A feature of Jim's Mowing is that Trainers are chosen from among our best Franchise owners. It is from this group, of course, that we will draw our future Area Managers and Master Franchisors.

 

Work Availability Guarantee of $1500 per week

With any new business start up your income is always a little uncertain. It’s not so with Jim’s Mowing. One of the unique features of the Jim’s Mowing system is our  Work Availability Guarantee given to you from day one. 

The Work Availability Guarantee means that, provided you fulfill certain conditions and accept all work offered to you during the month, Jim's Mowing will pay you to give free mows in your territory if your paid work does not reach the level of Work Availability Guarantee. In other words, we help you meet your income target in the initial period when you are getting started. Right now, in the majority of areas, we have more demand than we have Franchisees to service potential customers.

 

The Work Availability Guarantee is only one way that we help you get started. We challenge you to show us any other Franchise organization that guarantees you that type of support from day one.

 

Office and Administrative Support

 

Franchisees enjoy many benefits which would not apply to the independent operator. Our Franchise management computer system is unique and has been custom designed by Jim's Mowing

 

It enables us to respond quickly to our customers' service request. Our office staff is on standby to receive clients' calls throughout the day. 

 

This means that a Franchisee can get on with the job knowing that our customer service operators are handling calls and will page out the work immediately.

 

Our client details are kept in our company database for easy reference and communication. We also offer a full range of professional Jim's Mowing invoice pads, personal business cards, promotional and marketing leaflets and uniforms.
